Why do the number of views on WordPress.com and the reach of a post on Facebook

I have noticed that the number of visitors on my WordPress.com site does not match the reach of the posts I published on my Facebook page. Jetpack shows that visitors to my site are mostly from Facebook. I would like help understanding how this works, as it is difficult for me to determine the actual number of my post’s audience and their effectiveness, both on my site and on FB. Is the number of visits shown by Jetpack counted when someone actually visits and loads my page/post?

For example, I have about 100 daily visits (from Facebook) according to Jetpack, but the reach of all my Facebook posts during the day increases by a maximum of 10. This difference is confusing to me because looking at Facebook, I shouldn’t have that many visits to my site. I check the statistics on facebook directly via the button under the post. Maybe my problem is here?
