Why do viewers HAVE to register in order to view my Blog?

  let people view my blog without having to register with wordpress. 2 years ago I was able to give a password and that’s all the viewer would need to view my blog. Now you are requiring them to register with WordPress even if they will never want to create a blog???

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Private blogs require invitations and WordPress.com accounts to view, to ensure that only those you’ve authorized to see your blog are the ones viewing it. You can read more about this here: Privacy Settings

  If those users do not want to set up a WordPress.com blog, they are welcome to sign up for a just an account (with no blog) at this link:
