Why does a click on text widget link lead to link after my domain?

  I want to link to another news site and this is in my text widget:
  <img src=”http://static01.nyt.com/images/2014/06/08/fashion/08WORLDFASH/08WORLDFASH-master675.jpg” align=”center”><div align=”center”> <big>Who Will Be the Next David Beckham?</big>

  When I click on it, and other links in my text widget, it links to this: http://rhinopress.org/www.nytimes.com/2014/06/08/fashion/Neymar-David-Beckham-World-Cup-Brazil.html?ref=fashion
  The link is after my own domain — why does it do that? And I changed to the Text widget from the Link widget so I could change the html up.

  Nevermind, I found out that I had to add the “https://” before the link. Thanks guys for answering all my questions!
