Why does it say my domain is not transferrable

  I have a domain name that I need to transfer to wordpress. When I go to click add a new domain it says the domain is not transferrable and I need to understand why

  There are several reasons why a domain isn’t transferable. E.g. a new registered domain cannot be transferred within 60 days after registration. Instead you can connect your domain to your wordpress.com website.
