Why does my blog look nothing like the theme I chose?

I’m an absolute beginner in WordPress. I’ve chosen a theme and have added two ‘test’ posts to see what they look like. They look nothing like the image of the theme that I chose. What am I doing wrong?

With only two posts, no theme will show itself off well. Additionally, you chose a configurable theme. Please familiarize yourself with the way it works in order to get the most of it: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/fontfolio/

Ok, thanks for the reply raincoaster – I’m trying to run before I can walk I know. There’s just SOOOO much to read to try and get my head around it all.
