Why does my picture not show on the front page?

  Hi there,
  The picture associated with my blog doesn’t show on the home page. I have looked through your support files, but cannot understand where to find the tools needed to edit the code. Please could you help? Many thanks,

  Hi there – for images to appear on the homepage as a “post thumbnail” you’ll select it as a Featured image, as you did here:

  https://nsegibs.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=593&action=edit

  Featured images need to be in your Media Library, they can’t be images inserted via their URL.
