Why does my private account email appear in comment boxes on other WP sites?

I have discovered that my private account email address appears pre-populated in the comment boxes on other WP sites that I visit. Someone I trust first told me of this, but I have now seen it for myself. Clearly this is a fault which must be fixed a.s.a.p. Only my gmail address should be shown in public.

Ok, thanks, raincoaster, but I was alerted to this by another WP blogger, who emailed me at my private account address to ask if it was me, which suggests the previous discussion thread does not resolve my problem. Help?

Was that person logged into your account? If not, we need the url of the post where your data appeared.
