Why does my wordpress page not display properly when someone searches by it?

  When people search by name name and “word press” they get the wrong page that does not have my data on it. For example: when someone uses Google and searches by “Lance Weller wordpress” they get this page: http://lanceweller.wordpress.com/about/ rather than this one: http://lanceweller.wordpress.com .

  How do I fix that?

  Google does what Google wants – Me? I would just fix the “about” Page with some coherent content – you are a writer – write on the about page – nothing else you can do here – as your blog gets older maybe Google will send people to your home page.
