Why does that "New post" option up top even exist, then?

What kind of crazy person stops and peruses the forum to learn that, oh, hey, auto-save hasn’t been working for at least a year and a half if you use that particular link? Why is it even still there, if it isn’t fixed?
This is mind-boggling.
(And, yes, I lost a lot of work.)

I’ve been asking that question for a year and a half.
It works if you use the Classic Editor, though.

That was a pretty rude awakening after never having any issues at Blogspot.
I think I’ll just avoid WP editors entirely.
