Why doesn't a published post appear to anyone?

    Published post does not appear.

I published a posting…people who get an email notification of postings got their email. But the post does not show up on the blog, not to me or to anyone else.

I have noticed lately that when I edit a post, while the changes are made and saved, the post no longer goes to the top of the posting list. This may be important.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

One other point: the post is marked public.

    Well, don’t make us guess.

What is the title of the post? Does it appear on your Dashboard Posts page? If so, what is the Status (published, draft, scheduled)? If so, what is the URL? Did you use the New Post button on the grey admin bar (don’t; lots of people say it loses their posts)?

Sorry, I wasn’t very forth coming, was I? The title was ‘To springdom come’. It was marked as published but not showing up on the blog. I was getting responses to it in Comments, but only from people who got an email about it, not from anyone who saw it at the blog, as it was not appearing there.

In the end what I did was create a new post (I never use the grey admin bar), copied the contents over from the old post, deleted the old post and re-published the contents from the second post. It worked.
