Why doesn't WP ever seem to recognise my email address?

    Sometimes I like to leave a comment on people’s sites but as soon as I see they’ve linked the comments up with WP I just know it’s not likely that I’m going to be able to leave a comment. I put in my email address which it doesn’t recognise, it suggests I put in my name which makes no difference and at that point I usually give up. It’s only because I’ve got some covid time on my hands that I’m here. Thanks.

    I’ve redacted the screenshot so that the email address is not visible to the public. Can you share the link to the login page that you showed in your screenshot (where the email address is not recognized)?
