Why don't my pingpacks to Postaday turn up on the Weekly Photo Challenge page?

  Why don’t my pingpacks to Postaday appear on the Weekly Photo Challenge page?

  Recently (since the new Postaday theme?) my pingbacks to WP photo challenges don’t add my post to the WP scrolling list. Any clue why?

  PS: this applies to both my blogs “marsowords” and “seediving”

  I was able to find a couple of your posts for the Reflections-2 Weekly Photo Challenge as seen here:

  Thank you for your time and efforts. Using Ctrl+F (like I did before) they are now appearing in the list. However, this week’s “On Top” photo challenge posts (for both “marsowords” & “seediving”) are still not appearing.
  This never happened last year prior to the theme change on the challenge page.
  Hoping you can find another clue why, and that this question helps others in the same situation.

  As for the second one in the pingback you put the link as https://, instead please put http://

  So the link should be: http://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_photo_challenge/on-top/

  Thank you very much for your help and update. This is a recurring issue, however. I wonder why. Is there something I can check on my own before contacting you again (in case it happens in the upcoming photo challenge)?

  PS: I just looked at the HTML in my second post and found some odd repetitions in the code which seemed harmless; however, clearing them out fixed the “bug”—the pingback is now working!
  The reason this was a recurring problem is because I was reusing—copying—a previous post’s faulty formatting.

  Thanks again for helping me troubleshoot this issue!
