Why Don't Stats Show Visitors?

    Hi,

    Recently I received two notifications regarding my blog, The Horizon and the Skyline. (http://horizonskyline.wordpress.com/)

    On 8/22/2013:
    [The Horizon and the Skyline] Electrikkiss liked your post “Hollywood Journal – The Fight for the Dome”

    On 8/21/2013:
    [The Horizon and the Skyline] Kendall F. Person, thepublicblogger is now following your blog

    I was surprised because the stats showed no visitors on either one of these days. I was wondering if there was possibly a glitch in your software that prevented these visitors from showing up. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

    Hi Casey,

    Readers can like your posts and follow your blog without visiting your blog itself, for example if they see your posts in the Reader. It sounds like that’s what happened in both of these cases.
