Why don`t thumbnails show after theme change?

    Hi! I just changed to the “Rush theme” and after the installation the thumbnails of featured images don`t load anymore. Within the post I can see the images, but on homepage and category page there are no thumnails. On the homepage loading icons or placeholder for the images show up. Why is that, with the theme I used before, it worked.
