Why has the new post link at the top of my blog changed?

  What did you guys do to the new post button. It has changed & is not conducive to posting images which is what my blog is all about. Previously I had a choice regarding what kind of post I am making. Now I have none. Why did you do this???

  Hi there,

  Our team is working on some updates and changes to the new post page here: https://wordpress.com/post/

  Currently, you can add images to your posts by dragging & dropping them in the space below the post editor to create a gallery. Our team is also working on updates to that feature to add more options for adding and managing images in your posts.

  In the meantime, you can get access to more image options using the post editor under Posts > Add New in your blog’s dashboard. (You can get to that dashboard with the “Dashboard” link on your My Blogs page.)
