Why have at least 3 of my blog posts disappeared?

  My site is with wordpress.org – I installed an update and half my blog posts were deleted. I’d like them back please. Please could you explain why that has happened and then undo it? I can’t think of any reason why they would suddenly delete themselves. Thanks.

  No, we can’t, because this is the support site for WordPress.COM sites, not WordPress.ORG sites. You need to be at their support forums for help with that version of the software.

  Brilliant. For something that’s supposed to be simple and user friendly, WordPress is complicated, unpredictable (deletes 4 posts for no discernible reason? SURE WHY NOT?) and does not provide the necessary support. The wordpress.org support forum is like a fortress of tech jargon. I literally don’t understand any of it.
