Why is domain still mapped to my WordPress.com blog?

  I changed my mind and chose to delete the domain I recently had mapped to my WordPress.com site (I changed to DNS settings as well.) Yet, the domain is still forwarding.

  I happen to be in the process of transferring domain registrars (for that domain name) and I don’t mind if it forwards until the transfer is completed, but I wanted to know how long it takes to “disconnect”?

  Your domain name is still pointing to our name servers:
  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com

  If you have questions regarding your transfer, your best bet would be to contact your registrar.
