Why is Goodreads on here if it doesn't work???

  Nothing is appearing on my shelf in my “Goodreads” widget. On the Goodreads website, it says that their widget is not supported by Word Press. Why in the world is the Goodreads widget on the dashboard of Word Press blogs is the two aren’t compatible??? Is there some way to MAKE the Good Reads widgets compatible on Word Press blogs?
