Why is my blog still not deleted?

I went through the process to delete my blog some weeks ago and never received the confirmation email. I tried again today and have still not received the email. The address I provided is correct and accessible. The blog needs to be deleted immediately because it is an outdated educational tool and my students are getting misleading information by using it. Please delete it!!

http://trinityacademylatin.wordpress.com/ – has been cleaned out so there is nothing in it for your students to see – why not just put a note on the front page that “we have moved” and when you want the old address next year for something it will still be there

Cleaning out the blog was my solution when it couldn’t be deleted. Apparently that’s how it is going to stay.

Deleted blog names are never recycled here and are gone forever and that is why we recommend either clearing the content or setting it to Private – also if people are looking for you with old links or search engines having them hit a blank “this has been deleted” is I think a bit rude and makes it harder to find you
