why is my domain name not showing up correctly in another websites link?

  Other sites aren’t linking properly to my blog. When I click through from another website it shows http://%20www.chelseadanielleyoga.com, which is not correct, and it says the site can’t be found, obviously. My correct web address is http://www.chelseadanielleyoga.com. The other party swears the link address is typed in properly on their end. The website that links to mine is a major source of traffic for my site! I need to have this problem fixed asap! Please help!

  Hi there,

  That %20 in your link is caused by the other website’s owner accidentally putting a space at the start of your blog’s address. Web addresses can’t have regular spaces in them, so instead the space is converted to the characters %20.

  This is an error that will have to be fixed by the person who owns the other site. Once they take out the extra space (or the “%20” part of the address) their link to your site will work.
