Why is my domain registration option missing from Settings-Domain?

THe domain registration option does not appear on my Settings-domain page. I am trying to update nameservers to move hosting to Bluehost.

To point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), please follow the instructions here:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers

Note you will need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)

Hope this helps – let us know if you have any more questions!

I am pretty clear on the instructions for updating the nameservers. My problem is that I am unable to follow them because one of the first steps is impossible (1- Go to Settings → Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.2- Look for Domain Administration, select “Make Changes to DNS” and change the password.)
The “Domain Administration” option is nowhere to be found on the Settings >Domains page.

How can I get it to appear so that I can proceed with the process of changing nameservers?

    Thank you

  • Whoops, that should be Store -> Domains. Sorry about that!

    I’m updating the documentation now.
