Why is my latest post not appearing?

  Hi – I have just created a new post:

  http://shootingonashoestring.co.uk/2014/10/06/to-the-moon-on-an-economy-ticket/

  but for some reason, while it is appearing in my featured section (top of the page on my homepage – http://www.shootingonashoestring.co.uk) it is not appearing in the main section of my page, instead the previous post is still appearing.

  Any idea why?

  Hi there,

  With the Twenty Fourteen theme you’re using, by default it will show featured posts only in the featured section at the top of the page. Only non-featured posts will appear in the main section that lists your recent posts below that.

  If you’d like your featured posts to appear in both places, you can change that setting in your site’s Customizer. (To get to the customizer, you can go to your My Sites page and click the “Customize” link under your site there.)

  In the Customizer, head to the Featured Content section. There, check the box next to “Display tag content in all listings.” That will include any tagged (featured) content in both the featured content area and in the regular list of recent posts. Be sure to click the Save button in the Customizer when you’re done.

  That’s a very clear and helpful explanation. After I posted my query, I worked out WHY it wasn’t appearing in my main list, but I hadn’t worked out what to do about it!
