Why is my new domain webpage "not available"?

    To whom it may concern,
    I recently bought a .com domain from wordpress (so that our web address is changed from ubcbirdingclub.wordpress.com to ubcbirdingclub.com).
    However, when I tried to load the new .com domain, the webpage was “not available”. Is there anything I can do about it?

    I am seeing http://ubcbirdingclub.com/ point correctly to your WordPress.com site.

    It can take 24-48 hours for domain/DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet. It typically happens faster than that, but it really depends on your ISPs update frequency. If you are still not seeing the correct site appear after 48 hours has elapsed, please contact me again.
