Why is Tools, Export not working & why is my site blocked/suspended?

    My wordpress site was suddenly suspended on 16th August 2017 without warning and without giving me a chance to rectify my mistake assuming I violated some term. Now, the message to me says Export your website contents using Tools>Export in the wordpress site itself. But when I tried that it is saying ‘error’ and I am not able to export 5 years of my painstaking hard work/contents. Can someone help me or advise me whta to do, how to export or how to get suspension revoked and get my site working again? Pls reply.
