Why is wordpress.com telling me "invalid key" when I log in?

I can go to the URL wordpress.com while logged in with no problem. I can even go to my dashboard. However, when I try to go directly to my blog’s main home page, lifeisacamino.com, this message pops up:

    Invalid key [4]. Back.

“Back” is hyperlinked to lifeisacamino.com but this ultimately ends up leading me to the exact same error page. What’s going on??

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I am able to view your site with no problems.

Are you still experiencing trouble doing so yourself?

Hey rootjosh, luckily the problem seemed to have self-corrected. Mind you, I mostly use firefox (because I have a 3 yr old netbook that can’t handle chrome, please withhold judgment) so originally I thought maybe it was a browser problem. Then when I booted up chrome the same problem came up. However, within about 10 minutes of waiting it just…went away! Everything is back to normal. Also, just to clarify, I was also able to access my site while I was logged out of wordpress.com. It was only when I logged in and then typed in the homepage URL that the excrement hit the fan. Thanks for your help!

  • Great to hear!

    My apologies for the hassle.
