why isn't my background image showing

  I’ve uploaded a background image and all is well and good until I close the editing sidebar, and then it disappears. What am I doing wrong?!

  Do you have a theme that has a custom background image built in? if not, the customizer is only a preview of what you can do with the Custom Design upgrade. If you have the option free, it’ll be on the theme options page.

  Thanks raincoaster, but yes, I’m using the Twenty Twelve theme which has the custom background option.

  I’ve tried changing theme, but the same thing is happening. Could it have something to do with image size? Anyone?!
