Why isnt my default domain wordpress.com but wpcomstaging.com

    Hello,
    I’ve noticed recently my default domain is now wpcomstaging.com instead of wordpress.com.How do I get it to return to its original default form?

    Hi there,

    From what I can see you purchased the Business plan for jrsmusicaladventure.com Dec 19, 2019, but I do not see a renewal on Dec 19, 2020.

    Is it your intention to let the Business plan and your custom domain (jrsmusicaladventure.com) expire? Sites on our business plan are not able to use the “wordpress.com” addressing since they are on our business hosting platform, which uses the wpcomstaging URL instead. Do you wish to return your site to free status on it’s original domain of jrsmusicaladventure.wordpress.com?

    Please note that to return your site to that address will mean that the following plugins will be removed:

    – spamreferrerblock
    – defender-security

    As well you may lose any content you had since April 2020 to (the time you converted to a business site) to today. Do you need to save any content before we revert your site and remove it from our business platform?
