Why isn't my domain working for email?

  I entered the MX info from my web hosting provider in Store > Domains > Custom DNS Records as described for my cinemadetroit.com domain and the email is not working.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  When you check the email-related DNS records from your email provider, are there any other records besides the MX records you already entered? (You may want to contact them to request all of the DNS records you need to enter here.) Usually there is also an A record that you’ll need to enter on this end.

  If you let me know all of the email-related DNS records that you have, I’d be happy to help you enter them here.

  There’s a ton of different ones, A, MX, NS, and TXT. I added the A records.

  Hi there,

  Thanks for checking that! Since your email host gave you TXT records, you may also need to add those records for your email to work properly with your custom domain. It can take a few hours for these records to take effect, but please let me know if your email doesn’t start to work after a few hours and I can keep troubleshooting this with you. :)

  I added two TXT records, one wouldn’t validate, but the shorter one seemed to stick.

  Thanks for letting me know. If you try your email now, does it work?

  If not, can you give me the complete list of DNS records that your host gave you so I can take a look? If you don’t want to post them here, you can email them to support AT wordpress DOT com and refer to this forum thread in your email:
