Why isn't my image uploading to the media library?

  After having no issues whatsoever for 2 years, the media library is not uploading images from my computer. The progress bar will slow down for a long time and eventually a message comes up saying, “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later”. This has been happening for 3 days.

  I’m sorry you’re encountering that problem. Can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?

  Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Safari?

  The cache and cookies have been cleared in both Chrome and Firefox. Still not working.

  Do you have any anti virus/malware running on your computer? it might be that these are blocking the connection. Please temporarily disable them to see if that’s the culprit.

  Otherwise please try to test it from a computer on a different Internet connection, or a different computer within your current network.
