Why isn't my new domain working?

  Hello,
  I recently purchased a domain, and used your online tools to map it for free as well. My domain is not working and my settings for my domains is showing that I need to update my DNS. My website is down since I paid for it and I am unable to use the site I paid for. Please help me so I can get my site started again.

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry for the confusion. You purchased the domain dearlittles.net with your WordPress.com Premium plan on May 24, but when you cancelled that Premium plan you also cancelled the domain dearlittles.net (giving up ownership of the domain).

  When you repurchased the Premium plan later and tried to register that domain again, the registration didn’t go through — that’s because the domain wasn’t available to register again yet. It usually takes about a week for a newly registered domain to become available again after it’s cancelled.

  I just removed that domain upgrade and reset the domain credit on your Premium plan, since the domain dearlittles.net isn’t available to register again yet. In the meantime you can continue using your site’s free address here:

  http://dearlittles.wordpress.com/

  After about a week, that domain should be available to register and you can do that from the Domains page. You can also use your domain credit to register a different domain name right away, if you prefer.
