  Why isn’t my website posted on the internet? I bought a domain name, published it and can’t find it on the internet.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You can access your website by going to your custom domain at this address: http://tedkozakwriter.com/

  It can take some time for your website to start appearing in search engines, but you can always access it by putting your domain name in your browser’s address bar. If you’re curious, you can read more about how search engines work here: Search Engines

  Thanks for the reply, but the website does not come up when I type it into a search engine such as Google. That is the problem. What good is a website if you can only access through WordPress?

  Hi Ted,

  Your website will eventually show up in search engines like Google. However, search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to add any new sites. WordPress.com pings search engines every time you update your website, but ultimately it’s up to Google and other search engines to add them into the results. Don’t worry, though — soon your site will show up there, too!
