Why no steam embed snippets?

  I recently tried to add a Steam widget for a game I made to one of my blog pages. It seems though that iframes are banned on wordpress.com, and there is no short code for steam.

  Of course I could just use a boring text link, or an image link, but is there really no way to do this properly?

  There currently is not a way to do that. Though with the popularity of Steam, it is something worth considering creating a proper embed for.
