Why was my blog deleted?
-
I run a blog called “The Misogyny Report,” which posts public information freely available regarding the harmful treatment of women on the Internet (harassment, rape threats, discrimination, etc). I went to add to it just now, and found it missing, with no notification or explanation as to why this would be. I have never posted anything illegal, explicit, defamatory, or otherwise in violation of WordPress.com’s TOS. There is no logical reason as to why my blog would have been removed. I can guess why but will reserve my guesses until I have more information.
Perhaps someone with a paid account can reach out to WordPress for an explanation. I have no way of contacting them.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I was logged in, and it was not there. Perhaps it was taken down when someone who disagreed with it “flagged” it, and it has since been checked and reinstated. Thanks for your help.

No, that’s not what happened. When a blog is suspended here, there’s a notice that anyone going to the URL will see: This blog was suspended or archived for violations of the Terms of Service. If you didn’t see that, your blog was not suspended.

What I don’t understand is that I typed in the address, and it said “This blog does not exist.” So then I went into my admin area, thinking maybe I’d somehow spelled it wrong, and it did not show up in my admin area. It was not in my dropdown of blogs (there should be three total, including that one), and when I did see the name in another menu and clicked on it, it went to my personal user account settings. However, it seems to be magically back, so… I guess it’s okay. I just wish I knew what happened.
