Why won't Facebook won't let me link to my wordpress site?

  Attempting to post on facebook gives us this error: The content you’re trying to share includes a link that our security systems detected to be unsafe:

  Any Suggestions?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Generally speaking, this is because you have linked to or used an image from an unsafe site. Have you hotlinked any images? If so, delete them.

  We don’t have any hotlinking and it still won’t let us post our site on facebook.

  I have checked back into this issue and see that it is still not resolved. We haven’t heard anything back from the Facebook development team about what the problem appears to be.

  I would like to try a little more troubleshooting from this end, as follows:

  1. Temporarily revert your blog address to theleftoverdotcom.wordpress.com instead of theleftover.com

  2. Temporarily change the theme to a different one

  3. Add a new test post

  After checking on some things I would then restore your blog back to the way it was before. Can you let me know if this is okay with you? I can’t make any promises about the outcome but it may help me to see whether there is anything on our end causing this.

  It seems your site is blacklisted at McAfee.

  Could you please try this:

  1: Browse to http://www.trustedsource.org/en/feedback/url
  2: Recommended for website owners or anyone else who wants to be updated on the 3: request status: Create an Account and then Login
  4: Click on “Check Single URL” (since most re-evaluation requests would be for a single URL)
  5: Select the Product you are using – in our case choose “McAfee SiteAdvisor”
  6: Type in the URL you want to check
  7: Click “Check URL”
  8: Optional: Choose up to 3 categories from the drop-down “Optional categorization suggestion:”
  9: Optional: Leave an “Optional comment”
  10: Click “Submit URL for Review”
  11: f you created an Account (and logged in with it), a Ticket ID will be displayed, along with 3 options on when you will receive email (when the ticket is Open, Reviewed, or Closed)
