Why won't my About page/widget display in the sidebar?

  I have added an About widget to the sidebar. I have typed text into that page. When I go to the Dashboard, I can see the About page as a choice, and I can read the text. It claims it’s published. When I go to my blog, there’s no “About” choice on the sidebar. When I go to the Widgets menu, I see it, and I can move it to the top of the sidebar list, but then it doesn’t appear when I view the blog. What am I missing?

  You may not have your about.me widget set up correctly. For example, I am seeing the URL you have listed as being “http://about.me/” It should be something like:

  http://about.me/jenngrif
