Why won't my email work?

my email won’t work even though I followed instructions for the custom dns settings and have waited longer than 72 hours. Argh! (Thanks in advance for any help)

Hi, and thanks for replying. Yes, I followed the guide assiduously. I entered a mx 10 mail.bistrot-lecortal.fr reference that I found in my dns settings in my control panel from my hoster and an A ref A webmail 213.246.49.176
I did notice yesterday that my primary domain was the wordpress address, so I made it the domain name – did this delay things maybe? Do we log in to our provider as before to get the email? I’ve obviously missed something…. -
Yes, the primary domain would need to be set to the domain name for the email to work.
You should be able to access your email through your email provider.
