Why won't my post show up in the topics?

  Hi, about a week ago I made my blog joncoombs.wordpress.com go from private to non-private. A the same time I upgraded my domain to joncoombs.com which was previously self-hosted using WordPress.

  I’ve now noticed that my posts aren’t showing up when I look for them in the topics section. One of the reasons I moved back to wordpress.com was so I could interact more with the community on it.

  I did a little bit of research and saw some people had the same problem and that it can take a little while, yet, I’m wondering if having waited a week there is a problem or setting I need to change further…?
