Why Won't New Post Publish??

I have been trying almost ALL day to get a New Post to Publish. It keeps trying to auto save and just getting stuck there. I have tried repeatedly, restarting my computer and still nothing seems to be working. PLEASE help!!!!

What browser and version are you using? Is it just text in the post, or is there some media as well and if so, what?

I am using Chrome on my Mac, I have NEVER used anything else with Word Press, and NEVER had this problem. The post is for a Scrapbooking challenge I was a part of – you can see previous similar ones farther down my blog – and has links to other blog hop participants blogs as well as about three photos – it all appears fine – the pictures pop up and links are all properly linked, but it just keeps getting stuck trying to autosave.

Are you using the New Post button on the grey admin bar? Is it just text in the post, or is there media as well and if so what? By which I mean I need the URL of the uploaded image or media, starting with http.
That it worked in the past means little; Chrome is changing, Mac OS is changing, and WordPress.com is changing all the time.
