Why won't the "New day" theme let me add widgets to the sidebar?

  I keep trying to add an image or top page widget to my vertical sidebar (saving the image as in the tutorial doesn’t work). But they disappear! They don’t show up on the blog and when I refresh the widget editing page, the widgets I plugged into the sidebar aren’t there. Please help.

  After dragging a widget into the sidebar, you need to click the blue Save button on each widget.

  Are you doing that?

  yes lol and it doesn’t work =( i’m thinking it’s soemthing with the particular theme cus i didn’t have this problem with others
