Why won't the picture for my image widget show up on my blog?

  I’ve added the image widget to my sidebar but can’t get the actual image to display, despite following the steps described in the help section about adding an image widget.

  It seems the Image URL set in your image widget isn’t correct. It goes to http://twostripedcats.files.wordpress.com/2013 which isn’t an image file. Please make sure to enter the correct file address and your image widget will work again.
