Why won't the youtube embed process display correctly?

  I tried to embed a youtube video according to this process: http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/#embedding-with-a-url

  When I first wrote/previewed/published the post, it worked as stated. Now, however, it simply shows as text.

  i found out that a lot of chrome users n firefox using are having issues with embed videos there not able to see it but they can see it on actually youtube pages so its a browser problem not wordpress cuz im having the same problem my opera plays them thou

  I’ve never used that method. I always use the shortcode, which simply always works.

  Try that.
