Why won't wordpress.com let me embed codes that let readers read our publication

All I want to do is have a nice preview of our publication on the website, but WordPress won’t let me do this. Online, I see the answer that wordpress.com doesn’t let you do that, but wordpress.org does. I do not want to recreate the entire website because of this, and I am extremely frustrated. Security reasons? Really? That’s the reason why I can’t insert something to be simply embedded? TUMBLR would let me embed this, but WordPress won’t! This is ridiculous. This is so simple. Please help me. All I want to do is embed this:

    <div data-configid=”11962303/7843315″ style=”width: 650px; height: 1005px;” class=”issuuembed”></div><script type=”text/javascript” src=”//e.issuu.com/embed.js” async=”true”></script>

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

I’m sorry you’re frustrated. We don’t currently support embed codes from issuu. I understand that your use of script is totally innocent, but there’s no easy way for us to tell what script would be malicious and what would be innocent, so we’re forced to block all of it in order to maintain security.

We do have built in support for Scribd if you’re interested in that:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/scribd/

If its completely necessary that you use issuu, you may be interested in moving to a self-hosted WordPress.org installation. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

Let me know if I can help with anything else!
