widget will not display
-
This is the second time I wrote customer service, over two weeks ago, and still no reply. I have read the widget help section and the answer is not there. I am trying to get my twitter feed to show up. I have taken the twitter feed code and followed the instructions, but it does not display. Does this have to do with the theme I am using? I see widget options in the “custom” section of my site only include footer widgets. Do I have to change themes in order to add a sidebar widget? How can I fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I see that Brie answered your question earlier — you can find that here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/widgets-not-displaying-1
For quick reference, here’s the information Brie mentioned about getting your widgets to appear:
I see you have a static page setup for your homepage. The default page design for this theme does not have a sidebar — but no worries, it’s easy to change!
Just go to Pages in your site dashboard (https://kristinawilfore.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page) and edit the page you want to show the sidebar on (in this case you’ll want to edit, “About Karakoyun Strategies”).
Once in the editor, look for the box on the right that says “Page Attributes” — you’ll want to edit the Template option to be set to “Sidebar Template” instead of the default. Save the page and you should be all set!
You can set that option on any pages you want to have a sidebar show up.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
