widgets

Hi Happiness Engineers! I am attempting to revamp my blog’s design again and I was trying to put up an image widget on my sidebar to show one of my categories which is Haiku Fridays (currently found under Personal on my Menu). I have semi-successfully done that with the “awards” image widget although when you click on it, it will go to my home/about page where it briefly summarizes the awards but not really talk about it. You still have to click on each individual link to be able to read more about the awards. But I want the Haiku Fridays image widget to link to at least a summary of all my haiku posts when you click on the photo (instead of them being buried in my Personal posts). I know I could create a separate menu item for this but I was just wondering if I could do this on my sidebar. Is that even possible? Or do I have to change themes?
Thank you so much in advance for your help!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You could link the image to either one of the following archives pages:
Category = Haiku Fridays: https://thattravelingnurse.wordpress.com/category/haiku-fridays/
Tag = Haiku: https://thattravelingnurse.wordpress.com/tag/haiku/
Just insert either of these URLs as the “Link URL” field of your chosen image widget.

So, if I were to do another one, say just on travel photography, I would do this.. ??

Thank you.
