Widgets not a Sidebar

    All of my widgets are at the bottom of my blog. I thought it was a layout issue but that’s not the case. Where it normally says Main Sidebar for my widgets it says Footer Widget Area. Is this just my theme and can I keep the same theme but change it to having my widgets as a sidebar?

    Hi there, different themes may provide different widgetized areas. For example, some allow sidebar widgets, some let you have footer widgets, and still others provide an area in the header for widgets.

    If a theme only offers a widget area in the footer, it’s not possible to change that – you’d need to find a theme that offers the possibility for sidebar widgets if that’s what you’d like, which it looks like you’ve already done.
