Widgets not appearing

  We are using 2011 template and the sidebar widgets are not showing up. The forum information was not helpful. Help? Thanks.

  Twenty Eleven only displays sidebar widgets on the home page, not on single posts or pages.

  To display widgets on all pages with Twenty Eleven, add widgets to the Footer widget areas.

  Apologies for this stupid question but I was trying to put the widgets on the home page. We do have a designated home page. How do I do that? There is no option to select pages when adding widgets that I could see…Thanks in advance.

  If you have a static front page, it will be treated just like all single page views and not display the sidebar widgets (unless you use the showcase page template).

  If you have blog posts on your front page, you can add the widgets to the Sidebar widget area.
