Wierd image problem after hosting change.

    Hi, I hope someone can help me as I’m baffled as to how to fix this issue.

    I have recently changed the primary domain on my hosting platform (UK2.net). I followed their instructions and although there were a couple of slight issues the guys at UK helped get everythig back up and running, well almost.

    The WordPress site is functioning as expected but some of the images in the individual posts are jumbled, and by that I mean where a certain image is meant to be in a post, there is another image from the media gallery where the correct image should be. I can fix that I thought, I’ll just go into the post, remove the offending image and put the correct image back into the post. I did that and initially all looked fine until I edited the image (clicking on the little pencil) changing it from Full Size to Large. As soon as I did that the image in the editor changed back to the wrong image again. I changed the size back to the Full Size and it flipped back to the correct image. In each post where the images are wrong (which is random by the way), if I flick the size, back to Full Size it displays the correct image. I’ve also noticed that there are several copies in the Media Gallery of some of the images. If I click on that image it displays a random other image. I’m sort of at a loss as to how to fix this issue, does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi Howard, that sounds perplexing! The site isn’t hosted here with us (these are the forums for sites hosted by WordPress.com) but perhaps your host can take a look and help you spot the issue?

    You could also compare image urls in the posts with what you see in your media library. I hope you can get to the bottom of this with them!
