Will a guided transfer help with partial transfers or start from scratch?

  Please help! I started with this transfer weeks ago and I have a deadline to get it up and content in. Need transfer completed and database connected by this Fri.3/14 noontime.
  I don’t have the time or expertise to host myself.

  My end goal: fabricforever.com–build with wp.org(I like the ease and look of wp blogs) , hosted by godaddy(I need e-commerce;godaddy has always been the registrar of the domain.) I want to use Shopsite shopping cart plugin. My other blog will stay with wp.com.

  Deadline: I am actually 10 days past my first deadline, so ASAP is good I’d like the transfer completed and database connected by this Fri.3/14 2pm. Don’t care how many hours I have to work.
  What’s happened so far:
  -wp.org was installed guided by godaddy and hosting account there set up with shared hosting, ftp(bought hosting acct. 2/26/13)
  -xml file downloaded and transfer guided by godaddy
  -I saved wpress xml file for site to my desk top as both a web archive and an xml file.
  -started changing wordpress.com to wordpress.org everywhere in the web archive file
  -go daddy used Linux
  -my computer is a Mac Air laptop
  -my browser is Safari, but I never had an issue building or viewing my site with it.

  -PROBLEMS: can’t connect to database-changed my db password 3 times in admin and wp-config.php and can’t log in
  -can’t view fabricforever.com get message:
  -can’t upload from godaddy FTP— because of Java? (downloaded approp. Java, it’s enabled in browser
  What I’ve done since 2/26:
  -have read support from both godaddy, wp.com and wp.org support and forums for weeks and followed recommendations that fixed some things,but didn’t help end result needed.
  -have called and worked with godaddy three times and tried their recommendations to no avail
  -have tried putting in nameserver and IP for godaddy in wp.com blog admin but it won’t accept

  -started changing wordpress.com to wordpress.org everywhere in the web archive file

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  With a Guided Transfer, you’ll have to start from scratch.

  For issues with connecting to your database at GoDaddy, you should contact GoDaddy, though the folks at http://wordpress.org/support/ could probably help you too.

  For issues with connecting to FTP at GoDaddy, you’ll definitely need to contact GoDaddy.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
