Will anyone be able to search the name of my blog and view it?

    I’d like my blog to only be viewed by those who have a link – not anyone just doing an internet search for the name. How do I make this possible?

    Hi there,

    You can discourage search engines from listed your blog by changing your blog’s site visibility settings, under Settings > Reading in your dashboard. We have more information about that here: Privacy Settings

    If you choose the option “Ask search engines not to index this site” it will try to block search engines from adding your blog to their search results. We can’t guarantee that all search engines will respect this setting, though. The best way to keep anyone from searching and reading your blog is to make it a private blog or password-protect your blog posts.
