  Will deleting my wordpress.com account delete my sites hosted on Siteground.com?

  No. WordPress.com a different hosting provider from SiteGround. Deleting a WordPress.com will only delete WordPress.com hosted sites, which you don’t have. So you’re safe to proceed.

  Please note that on all three of your sites you’re using the Jetpack plugin which needs a connection to a WordPress.com account to properly function. So if you need to continue using that plugin you’ll need to keep your WordPress.com account.

  Thanks for the quick reply and information, fstat. The warning about my sites being deleted (if I close my wordpress account) was very concerning. I will keep my acccount open due to the jetpack plugin requirement.
